Not so long ago I built a new ultimate spec PC. The spec is 16GB RAM, 160GB SSD hard Drive, and an Intel i7, 24inch Samsung LCD monitor. This new pc set me back quite a bit of money (over £2k), but it should last me a while and provide me with some great gaming experiences. Its a great improvement on my old computer, which was a lowly P4, 512mb ram, and 6GB hard Drive, 14inch CRT monitor, with windows 95. I know, I know. You’re all wondering how I coped with such a sad computer machine. Well, it was tough, let me tell you. It was very difficult pushing the machine to be able to play my favourite games such as zombie games such as Resident Evil 5. But alas, I now have something which in theory can play any game out today.
Today my new games arrived. YESSS. I ordered call of duty black ops from Amazon. Impressive delivery time even though I used the basic method, with it arriving in 2 days! I loved Modern Warfare 2, so hopefully this game will live up to the hype that has got to be the most a game has ever received in the history of gaming. And, yes, I have ignore the 3 stars it received on the website I bought it from
Anyway, until ive had a few hours play of it it online (which is where it’s at), I wont judge it. I’m looking forward to also playing the zombie part of the game.
I’ve also bee playing a range of online games on my newly built beast of a machine! Even a computer as powerful this needs a bit of a rest with some lightly processes. I’ve been playing a lot of zombie games for some inspiration, but one that I’m keen to model it on is a war game called Mutually Assured Destruction. The game play of this game is simple but considerably fun to play. The idea is to shoot down missiles which are hurtling towards the city which you are tasked with protecting. As it sounds it’s not the most in depth type of game, but it is nevertheless very addictive and that’s what game players want isn’t it? The game rewards you with upgrades to you weaponry also, which makes it all the more fun. Anyway I’m off to play some more of The Last Stand 2, where I will take on a horde of savage zombies trying to break my fortifications.
